Once we have an established course/rules set up, we should make a thread for the rules, of course this will require a collaboration of people such as Spencer, Evan, and I, (more?).

No, I say us three are the three commanders (or however you want to look at it). We are the regulars and we run everything about Orange-Soft together so we can talk about rules soon. Just us. Good idea.

just a little advice (and from experiance) you should only have one main commander, otherwise the others will cancel out eachother and you wont get anything done

Yeah, we're pretty good about working together. I dont mind taking command whenever I'm around. I run the forum mainly, but these guys are my right hand men so I dont mind sharing the command with them. When it comes time to organize the team, we'll probably come up with some more specific positions or whatever.
But thanks for your advice! We really do appreciate it =)

Well just some suggestions here, for most Roughneck and Orangesoft games (the two most attended groups in the OC) they have surrender rules which means that you can surrender someone who has their back to you and who is 20 feet or closer to you.
If they choose not to surrender you may use a pistol or a rubebr knife to get them out, however you may also parley, which means both parties back away into a respective safe zone.
They also have grenade rules. Grenades can be either approved homemade grenades, i.e. tennis balls, or airsoft grenades. Wherever the grenade stops after it hits the ground is where the kill radius. The kill radius is about ten feet. Nerf footballs (or in my case homemade beenbags) can be used for grenades in a grenade laucher. These have the same kill radius.
And finally my last bit of info. Knife Rules. Though ive never seen it done, you can use a knife to get someone out. If you have a rubber knife then you can tap the person with it to get them out, i wouldnt recommend this as usually pistols are used as surrender weapons since the universal rule for them is that they can be fired at any range.
So theres my advice.

I dunno someone had a knife that slide into itself and I mean it might be fun to use one. Hell I would like the rule to be there cause you never know when you may come into a situation were it could be handy

I wouldn't mind a knife rule for a 'just in case' situation. However, I can't see it being used a whole lot. Bringing a knife to a gunfight in broad daylight usually doesn't end well...

Lol I could prove that wronge in BF2. I mean if I ran out of ammo I would hide and ambush someone with a knife.

Ah yes, the realistic combat simulation that is BF2, with it's perfect damage counters, vehicle survivabilty, and ambient perception.
You can't really hide behind a ficus during an airsoft game.
