Here's a quick video comparing the rate of fire of my AKS74U with the stock 8.4v 1400 mah and a Turnigy 11.1v 1800 mah 20c. Before you even think about using an 11.1v battery in your gun I recommend you re-shim your gears, adjust AoE, remove at least the 2nd tooth of the piston (removal of 3rd tooth is recommended for high ROF). Also recommened is installing a MOSFET so that you don't burn out your contacts. I estimate the rof to be 16-17 rps on the 8.4v and mid to high 20's rps on the 11.1v. Once I get some new bushings for my high speed setup AK Spetsnaz, I should be getting near 40 rps, so we'll see how that goes, haha. Anyways, here's the vid: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYooUY7yss0
